Suspended in ShoppingAds

ShoppingAds just suspended my account. I got this email from them an hour ago:
Dear Rex Delsar Dianala,
ShoppingAds is undergoing a revamping and in the process has redefined the requirements of quality and traffic volume for the publishers we work with. Due to this restructuring, we regret to inform you that we have had to deactivate your account moving forward. If you have remaining earnings in your account from your last payout. You needn’t worry- you WILL be paid on or after our next payout date, March 1st, 2009.
Thank you kindly for your cooperation, and good luck with your future marketing endeavors.
The ShoppingAds Team.
Nah, I’m not surprised and neither am I disappointed. In fact, I’m happy!
I was aware ShoppingAds was having problems with eBay due to some publishers employing sneaky tactics to generate income. As for me, I know I’m completely innocent. I haven’t done anything other than put their ads on my site. I really didn’t have time to do more than that.
So why did they suspend me? Here’s what’s posted on my account page:
ShoppingAds is undergoing a restructuring period.
We are redefining our requirements for traffic volume.
We regret we have to deactivate your account going forward.
Okay, it seems like I’m not generating enough traffic and earning enough. I’m guessing in the process of their restructuring (to comply with eBay requirements) they decided to clean up their affiliates and get rid of the little one’s.
Yes, I’m a little one. I’ve been with ShoppingAds since June 2007 and over that period, after 3183 clicks and 399 347 impressions, I only earned $47.49. Click-through rate was a dismal 0.80%.
So why am I happy? Here’s another message on my account page:
You WILL BE PAID any and all last earnings you may have received on this account after our next payout date this coming month. [March 1st, 2009]
Thank you!
Yey! I will get paid after all. The only reason why I was putting up with the ShoppingAds affiliate network despite the low earnings is so I can reach their $50 pay-out cut-off and get paid. In so doing, the little of what I have already earned won’t be in vain. It seems like my long wait is over and I won’t need to wait for my earnings to reach $50.
Now, it’s time to scout around for an affiliate network that will bring better returns for my Philippine Money blog. I still think it’s a good addition to Adsense.

I was waiting for it too but didn’t get any payment. They posted something in their blog about a Net30 payment scheme.. some delaying tactic I think.
