Yes Natalie, the watermark can be easily cropped out by someone determined to use the photo without it. It does, however, provide some degree of protection.

What do you mean Microsoft watermarks for documents? As far as I know, it doesn't directly apply to pictures.

I also had similar instances where people used my photos on advertisements but (as far as I know) they were never sold directly. I guess you should talk to that person who sold your photo since you know him/her anyway.

Rky, for a short answer, I decided not to eat pork because I told myself not to. Much of this blog post gives reference to Bible verses but they are not the main reasons I stopped eating pork.

To summarize the blog post above, the decision to try to stop eating pork was made when a friend told me pork inhibits one's ability to concentrate. That decision was soon reinforced by Biblical passages and my subtle desire to be vegetarian.

As a Christian, I place much weight on the scriptures although I am still in the process of studying them. I said "I'd rather be safe than sorry" in reference to the Bible verses. The consequence I would like to avoid is displeasing my Lord and Creator.

I have neither sadness nor regret for deciding to stop eating pork and I am not trying to convince anyone with this blog post.

When using Picasa web albums, can the photo be edited by THE VIEWER? I want to use the watermark but in many cases if the picture is cropped the water mark is lost. Also, check out Microsofts watermarks for documents. It's much more efficient.
This is very important. I have already had someone I know, copy one of my photos and paint in oil a very large canvas of my photo (It sold for over $2000.00) NOT A GOOD THING

So sad are the people who base their daily decisions on things found in a book wrote by hundreds of people for over 2000 years and mostly based on faith and beliefs of those who lived 2 milleniums ago. No reasonable explanation was ever published on why we should not eat pork or pork-based recipes.

"I decided not to eat pork" Why?
"I’d rather be safe than sorry" What are the consequences?

Shall you provide me/us that you did not make that decision reliying on religious beliefs (or religious scripts) and convice me that pork is a dirty meat, I WILL stop eating pork forever.
Don't anyone get me wrong. I do respect all human beings regardless their faith but I'm a person of facts not fairy tales.

Thanks Lee. The last time I was in the US was 9 years ago but it was for 3 weeks so I had time to adjust my frame of mind to spending in dollars. This trip was only for two days and so I left hardly spending any of my pocket money. Sometimes

Nelson, I wrote the entry on the plane but I posted it on the ground. While I do think it's possible to access the internet on the plane, it will weigh heavily on your credit card. On Ala Moana Center, I think MOA is way cooler :D

BTW, I am already in the Philippines but still yet to post my second day experience. Work has caught up with me so it might take a while.

From your previous posts, is it safe to assume that you surfed the Internet while aboard the plane?

Rex hello! I had a hoot just reading your post, believe me! It must be your first trip outside Pinas. Your excitement is tainted with jet lag, culture shock and homesickness (already!) altogether! By now, you must have realized that living in North America (well, Hawaii is part of US) is quite expensive compared to home. What I'm driving at is, both standard and cost of living is much higher compared back home. People here earn big bucks but they spend it big time as well! It's a no win-win situation, unless if one is super-rich! Besides, Hawaii is known to be an expenive holiday destination for us. Hey, those steaks looked sumptuous, not withstanding calories and, yes, fats & cholesterol (big time!). It' okay if you only have it once in a while. That seaweed is a turn-off, but beside it, I think is kim chi, a Korean favourite. Well, Rex, enjoy your remaining days there in Hawaii. I'll keep watching shots of your trip!
