Last night we received news that a private dormitory near the University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College (UPVTC) was razed by a fire leaving 84 UPVTC students without clothes and school materials. The rest of their provisions were also said to have completely burned.

I have placed this blog online for quite some time now but I have been too preoccupied with an upcoming speech to write anything. Now that it’s over, the speech should serve well as the first post on this blog.
